This is the page where we keep that story going, because, simply put as the saying goes, ‘The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease’. If decision makers don’t know who we are, what we can do, and how they can help us do those things we see as needed for ourselves, they tend first to do nothing, and next something no one actually asked them to do.

Communication is a loop just like two cans tied with a string. It takes back and forth for communication to happen.

In 2018, we settled into a consistent annual campaign where we drop off a gift package with a trans flag in it, some community resource information, and ask them to simply gift it on to a community member. And if some one would like the share the story of that meeting, we would be glad to share it with others.

We can all use that ‘good news’ story on a regular basis and we find the best ones come from people simply stretching a bit and connecting with someone new.

Try it this year and join in the connections that happen when we get better together.
